THE CHALLENGE

The NeuroDiagnostic Institute will be the flagship facility for Indiana’s network of state operated mental health facilities. The facility will focus on diagnosis and treatment of brain-based disorders. The primary challenge for the design team was creating a healing environment which would be safe and durable for an intense patient population.

OUR SOLUTION

Thorough research and input from the client provided the criteria to develop the patient areas into comforting, therapeutic environments. Careful attention to finish selections and material detailing ensure patient and staff safety, while nature inspired artwork reflect the overall design concept, imparting positive distractions for patients.

THE RESULT

Improved patient outcomes and increased safety for patients and staff are the expected results from this project.
