As Four Point Design enters our 10th year in business, we’re saying farewell and thank you to the year 2024. Here are four ways our Four Point Design team experienced and helped create memorable moments this past year.
1. Team growth | Our team grew, both in numbers and in knowledge. Mary Jane Sanchez and Amanda Kasper joined Four Point Design, lending their perspectives and skills to our team. Emma Walsh earned her CHID credential, gaining expertise that benefits our healthcare clients. We took three furniture manufacturing tours and attended numerous conferences, adding to our understanding of trends, challenges, and opportunities in healthcare, higher education, and workplace environments. We also paid it forward by presenting alongside clients and colleagues at the Healthcare Design conference.
2. Exciting projects | Four Point Design’s projects took us across the state of Indiana and the country, as we traveled to Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas for projects. The team worked on multiple meaningful healthcare projects, from Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center Caring Recovery Opioid Treatment Program in Indianapolis to the new IU Health Fort Wayne hospital to the Banner Thunderbird women and infant services tower in Glendale, AZ, and more. Education projects helped create environments that support and enhance learning, from the colocation of the Indiana School for the Deaf and the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired to the Wabash Stephenson Institute to the newly renovated Indiana University School of Nursing in Indianapolis.
3. Community contributions | It’s important for Four Point Design to contribute time, talents, and treasures in the communities where we work. Again this holiday season, we appreciated the opportunity to participate in We Care and Helping Hands. We Care is hosted by MillerKnoll/OfficeWorks to provide a memorable experience and essentials for the Lilly Boys & Girls Club. Helping Hands brings the holidays to the children at Riley Children's Hospital with decorated trees for patient rooms. Thanks to partnerships with our clients, we were able to donate to multiple non-profits, like the IU Health Foundation, Eskenazi Health Foundation, For Every Child, Riley Children's Foundation, and the Purdue in Indianapolis Student Design Organization Scholarship Fund. And our team members gave of their time regularly, volunteering for the Humane Society, Next Great Architects, Girl and Boy scouts, community clean-ups, and more.
4. Great relationships | Throughout all our experiences, the common thread is great relationships! During team members’ travels to Sacramento, Phoenix, Austin, Chicago, Nashville, Las Vegas, and Houston, we developed relationships with each other and other industry professionals. Closer to home, we enjoyed team outings and moments of levity around the office. And with our client partnerships, we prioritized our core values of integrity, responsiveness, expertise, and care.
We appreciate the opportunity to build great relationships with you and look for more connections and collaborations in the new year.
